Above and beyond. This sums up the service and commitment I received from Katherine Fong with the sale of my family home. With my mom’s passing and the stress that’s involved in managing the estate liquidation, I was finally ready to get the family home on the market. I happen to live in Nevada, and with the home being located in Marin County, this was going to be a, “long distance relationship” where I had to rely on Katherine to get the home sold on time, on budget and for the highest price possible. When we met to discuss listing the home, I explained that I would give her wide latitude to use her background and judgment with regards to the plan. In return, I expected her to meet every single commitment - and the budget – in the time frame we agreed upon. After the signing, we discussed a variety of options, looking to focus on repairs and upgrades that would give us the, “biggest bang for the buck”. The plan was formed. Not only was every single item on our pre-sale list completed on time – with Katherine managing the large team of workers – painters, plumbers, flooring contractors, handymen, electricians, inspection teams, roofers, gardeners, cleaners – we came in under budget for the repairs and upgrades. Where do I begin? Katherine is absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I have been searching for a home in the Bay Area for several years now and Katherine stuck with us every step of the way. I can't say enough about how lucky I feel to have chosen Katherine Fong to handle the sale of my dad's house. I was in a very tight bind- my dad's assisted living facility he had moved into a couple of months earlier was expensive, and he was running out of money, fast. I explained the circumstances- I needed to sell my dad's modest but cozy 1000sq foot house quickly, but every dollar we were able to get from the sale was an equivalent parcel of time for my dad's care. To make it worse, my dad's house was a disastrous mess. Katherine understood immediately and got to work, fearlessly, happily, and with dizzying speed.
